    Grades 1-8

Partnering with Centre For Learning@Home (CFL), we are excited to offer a program where students will receive live teacher instruction in core subjects by certified CFL teachers via video stream into the classroom. EC Hub staff will provide intentional education support and guidance in each classroom. Supplementing learning through electives, music, gym, chapel, bible, etc. Our amazing Hub Staff are committed Christ-followers who are part of the EC community. Our adult-to-child ratios exceed the Alberta provincial educational standards, ensuring more personalized attention and support for each student. Students will learn in shared-grade classrooms (Grades 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8).

    Grades 9-12

Partnering with Centre For Learning@Home (CFL), we are excited to offer a Hub High School for grades 9-12. CFL is under the umbrella of Christ for the Redeemer Catholic School Board. They offer high-quality, independent online synchronous and asynchronous education for Grades 9-12, instructed by certified CFL teachers, with the classroom and faith integration overseen by EC Hub Facilitators. This program is tailored for highly independent learners, prepares students for higher education and beyond in our shared classroom environment.

    Curriculum

Students will be taught Alberta Education aligned LA, Science, Social Studies, & Math. Also, non-core subjects such as PE, Art, Bible & Music will be available as well. Please note that all subject matter will be presented from a Christian/Biblical worldview.

    Biblically Based Education

The EC Learning Hub is deeply rooted in a biblically-based educational framework, integrating scriptural principles across all subjects.

Weekly morning chapel offers a vibrant worship experience for students, accompanied by age-specific biblical teachings from Experience Church's staff members. Through engaging games and activities, we aim to make learning about faith fun and interactive, fostering a deeper understanding and connection to spiritual principles.

    Parental Involvement

At the EC Learning Hub, we strongly believe in and value the role parents have as primary educators for their children. We come alongside parents in educating their children and ask parents to be actively involved in supporting the learning process at the Hub.

Parents are encouraged to volunteer as a Hub Helper at least once every two weeks. Individual availability can be discussed upon application.
