2024-2025 registration opens on April 28th, 2024
Our Vision
We aim to support EC families wanting their children to grow academically and spiritually. We understand the difficulties in finding biblically based, affordable, and high-quality schooling options. For that reason, we've launched the EC Learning Hub.
The Overview
EC is partnering with families by providing a 4-day-a-week space for students to gather in a supportive learning environment for grades 1-12. EC will provide staff to support families in this learning journey who will encourage attentiveness to instruction and accountability for learning. EC is NOT the educators of the enrolled students, instead are facilitating space and support towards each student. EC is staffing "Learning Facilitators" for specific grades and each staff member will have a personal relationship with Jesus and be committed to EC’s vision and mission.
Upon approval, families will enroll their children in a Teacher Directed Home Education program, independent of Experience Church. We recommend that our students register with Bearspaw Christian School’s distance education program (BCS@Home) to facilitate program consistency.
Biblically Based Home Education
In Alberta, students are required to be registered with a school board.
We recommend that our students register with Bearspaw Christian School’s distance education program (BCS@Home) to facilitate program consistency.
Registration in BCS@Home is independent of the EC Learning Hub. BCS@Home has its own application process and requires its own consultation independent of EC. Students who wish to attend the EC Learning Hub are required by EC to register with BCS@Home.
Hub Update
2023-2024 Learning Hub is at capacity and the 2024-2025 waitlist is open.

Curriculum
We recommend BCS@Home for delivery of instruction.
BCS@Home students will be taught all subjects from the
Alberta Program of Studies from a Biblical perspective.
It is important to note that EC will facilitate a cooperative learning environment and space.
EC is not responsible for instruction and curriculum.
Parental Involvement
Students will need parents to be actively involved in supporting the learning process to be successful.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer as a classroom support at least one day every two weeks.
